Monochromatic Birds

Wow, I haven't been around in a while!  The holiday season was pretty busy, then my husband and I went to Washington to visit some friends for a week.  I came back from vacation with a nasty cold so that laid me out for a bit.  I also started school shortly after I got back, so I have been trying to get my schedule figured out with class, work, and homework.  I think I am finally a little settled and I had today off from work, so I decided to do a little crafting.

I got these new stamps by Tim Holtz and wanted to play with them a little, so I created four monochromatic cards in different colors.  The birds are all stamped on white card stock, then cut with my Brother Scan 'n' Cut.  I colored them with Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  The cards are 5 1/2"x4 1/4" and I used the Card Mat Dies from Jaded Blossom to cut each polka dot mat for the cards.  I also used the Stitched Hexagon Dies for the hexagon mats.  The sentiments are from Supersized Birthday Greetings.  I finished each card with some coordinating gems.
