Valentine Mailbox

The employees where I work are encouraged to make display samples using products we sell, in order to give customers an idea of projects they could make.  I currently have two Christmas presents I made using Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 on display.  Well, since Christmas is over I thought it was time to make something new, and this is what I came up with:

I used Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 for the mailbox.  It was cut at 9."  It is about 4" tall when assembled, not including the flag.  I added two red strips to the ends of the box, they are 3/4" wide.  I used Doodlecharms to cut the heart that is on the flag.  I then stamped a sentiment on it using a stamp from My Pink Stamper.  I also used a little heart brad at the bottom of the flag.

I thought the mailbox need a little something special, so I added this adorable teddy bear from Create a Critter 2.  He is cut at 3."  I gave him a Peachy Keen face and added glossy accents to the eyes and nose.  I also covered the heart he is holding with some red glitter.

I made five little Valentines to go with the mailbox.  They are all 3 1/4"x3 1/4."  I used red cardstock for the card base, then cut some white cardstock at 3"x3" and embossed it with the Swiss Dots folder.  I used Doodlecharms again for the hearts.  They are cut at 2 1/2."  I covered the red scalloped part with red glitter and used a Scrappy Moms stamp for the sentiment (both inside and outside).  I added more little heart brads at the bottom of the hearts and adhered them to the cards with foam tape.
