Villainesses

Today's set of birthday cards feature some Disney villainesses!

All the cards are 5 1/2"x4 1/4" and made of black card stock.  I used one of Jaded Blossom's Card Mat Dies to cut the grey patterned paper.  The background shape is from Cricut Font and Basic Shapes.  I embossed the white part with the Ornamental Iron Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The sentiment is from the V is for Villain stamp set and it is stamped on one of the Dimensional Banners dies, both are from Jaded Blossom.  All the villainesses are from the Krafty Nook.

Greetings from Wonderland

I made six "Alice in Wonderland" inspired cards:

All the cards are 5 1/2"x4 1/4" and made of white card stock.  I used one of the Card Mat Dies from Jaded Blossom to cut the background mat.  The background shape is from the "Groovy Times" Cricut cartridge.  The speech bubble is from the "Cricut Font and Basic Shapes" cartridge.  The sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom, the Greetings from Wonderland set.

I used Peachy Keen stamps for all the kids' faces and more Jaded Blossom stamps for the interior sentiments, from the Greetings from Wonderland and Wonderland Candies set.

Tweedle - In the Garden Babies Face Assortment

White Rabbit - Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment

Mad Hatter - Sweet & Innocent Face Assortment

I used glossy accents, black flocking powder, wink of stella, foam tape, and distress inks to give dimension and accents to the cards.

Cat Lady

Another fun birthday card for you today!

The card is 5 1/2"x4 1/4" and is made of white card stock.  The teal mat is 5 3/8"x4 1/8" and the purple striped mat is 5 1/4"x4."  All the patterned card stock is from the Violet Leaf Stack by DCWV.  The shape in the background is from the "Cricut Font and Basic Shapes" cartridge.  I cut it at 5."

The girl with the cat is from the "Meow" cartridge.  She is cut at 3 1/2."  I used pale purple pearls for the cat's eyes.  I then covered it in glitter flocking powder.  I used a Peachy Keen Stamp for the girl's face.  It is from the Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment.

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom.  It is from the Party Animal stamp set.

I cut a teal mat and a purple striped mat the same as on the front.  The next teal mat is 4 1/4"x3" and the white mat is 4 1/8"x2 7/8."  The sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom, the So Many Birthdays set.

Corgi

One of the things I love most about my home is my two little Corgis.  They are cute, full of energy, a wonderful source of amusement, and just so full of love.  I got an set of SVGs of Corgis a while back, but have not yet used them.  Well, today I finally made a card using one of those cut files.  I figure this card will more than likely go to my husband.

The card base is 5 1/2"x4 1/4" and made of a dark green card stock.  The green polka dot card stock is 5 1/4"x4."

The background mat is cut from the "Cricut Font and Basic Shapes" cartridge.  This one is free on the Cricut Explore.  I cut it at 4 3/4" and embossed the white layer with the Darice Embossing Folder called "Paw Print Background."

The corgi is a cut file, as mentioned earlier, from SVG Cutting Files.  It is called Corgi Pup Dogs, and it includes four different dogs.  I used the sitting Corgi and cut it at 3 1/2."  I inked around the edges of the brown fur with tea dye Distress Ink.  I added some detail with a white gel pen, then covered the eyes and nose with glossy accents.  The nose is adhered with foam tape and the dog is also adhered to the background with foam tape.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps.  It is from their Raining Cats & Dogs set.  I then finished off the card with some enamel hearts.

I made this for the following challenges:
Stuck On U Sketches: home sweet home (it might be stretching it, but part of what makes my house a home are my dogs)
