Perfect Sentiments: "Floral Fantasia"

Time for another challenge at The Perfect Sentiment!

The this week is: "Floral Fantasia"
The challenge: create a card with a sentiment for the occasion of your choice
The twist: use flowers in any way or any form you like

Our sponsor this week is Beccy's Place and the winner will receive 3 free digis!

I created a birthday card for my mother for this challenge.  Her birthday was actually two week's ago, but this way she won't have seen it on my blog before her actual birthday, so I was finally able to surprise her with her card!

The card is 5 1/2"x4 1/4" and I used a pre-made shimmery ivory card for the base.  The card base is from DCWV.  I cut some aqua cardstock for the mat, it was cut at 5 1/4"x4."  I another shimmery ivory card into a 5"x3 3/4."  I then embossed it with the Victoria folder and my Cuttlebug.  I used a Spellbinders scalloped circle Nestabilities die for my scalloped circles.  I used a Fiskars stamp for my sentiment.  It is stamped in ocean depth ink by Tsukineko.
I used some Prima flowers and sprayed them with turquoise blue Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels.  I added some ivory pearls to the middle of the flowers.  The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch.  I then covered them in lagoon Stickles.

I also finished the inside of this card.  I cut some aqua cardstock at 5 1/4"x4" and more of the shimmery ivory at 5"x3 3/4."  I embossed the shimmery ivory cardstock with the Victoria folder again.  I cut more aqua cardstock at 4 1/2"x3 1/4" and some plain ivory cardstock at 4 1/4"x3."  I used another Fiskars stamp and stamped the inside sentiment in the ocean depth ink again.

Now, head on over to The Perfect Sentiment and see what inspiration the design team has created.  Then it is your turn, link up your floral creation.  I can't wait to see what you create!
