Over the Hill

Here is another card I made for my co-worker, for her mother's birthday.  This gives her a couple of options.

The card is 6 1/4"x4 1/2."  I used white card stock for the card base.  I cut some red card stock at 6"x4 1/4" and then some blue polka dot paper at 5 7/8"x4 1/8."  The image is a stamp from Peachy Keen, from the August 2012 Stamp of the Month Kit.  I paper pieced her together and added some glossy accents to the glasses.  The red strip is 4 3/4"x1 1/2," the pink strip is 3 1/2"x1 1/4," and the white strip is 3/4"x3 1/2."  The sentiment is computer generated.  I finished off the front of the card with three red gems.

The larger red mat on the inside is 6"x4 1/4," and the blue polka dot paper is 5 7/8"x4 1/8."  The smaller red mat is 5"x3 1/4," and the white mat is 4 7/8"x3 1/8."  The sentiment is computer generated and the tombstone is from "Life's a Party."  It is on page 38 of the handbook and cut at 2 1/4."

I made this for the following challenges:

Peachy Keen: sketch

The Friday Mashup: cherry cobbler, primrose petals, soft sky, & marina mist

  2. Very cute! We do a twisted humor swap at our local shoebox swaps, and this card would work well. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.
