Pretty Peacock

Peachy Keen has a combo challenge this week, the sketch and a color combo. Their colors for this challenge are: apricot, teal and orchid. As soon as I saw those colors a peacock sprang to mind and I knew I wanted to make a card with one. I used French Manor for the peacock and cut it at 3." To get the blacked out orange part of the tail I used my Gypsy and used the hide contour feature to get rid of the cuts that made the holes for the plumes. I added a gemstone for the eye and some pen around the wing and tail and on the feathers on the peacock's head. I used the Plum Blossom embossing folder on the orange strip and the purple strips. I also included some butterfly stickers and some orange gemstones. I also made this for Crafty Creations, which is to use butterflies on your project and for Cricut Cardz, which is "anything goes." Enjoy!
