Sweet Pea

The card base is 5 1/2"x4 1/4" and made of pink card stock.  The yellow card stock piece is 5 3/8"x4 1/8."  The white card stock piece is 5 1/8"x3 7/8."

The white background is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder called Mountain Meadow.

The baby in the pea pod is from SVG Cutting Files.  It is called Pea Pod.  I cut it at 3 1/2" tall.  I hid all feature of the face before cutting.  I used a white gel pen to add some doodling detail to the peas and pod.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps, the Special Delivery set.  I stamped it on a piece of yellow card stock that I cut into a tag.  I tied three pieces of twine into a small bow and added it to the top of the tag.  I adhered it to the end of the pea pod, using foam tape at the end for a little dimension.

The face is a Peachy Keen stamp.  It is one of the ones from the March 2013 Stamp of the Month kit.  I used a white gel pen on the eyes, then added some pink chalk for the cheeks.  I colored in the pacifier with some pink markers and gave the baby some freckles with a black marker.

I made this for the following challenges:

Color Throwdown: color combo

Die Cuttin' Divas: baby love
