Bun in the Oven

Today's challenge over at 365 Cards is "What's Cooking," where your project had to have something to do with the cooking of food. When I saw this challenge I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I used the From My Kitchen cartridge and cut the oven out of yellow at 7" and in again in black, but with the blackout feature. I cut out the middle of the yellow oven, where the door would go. I then cut out the layers and when I glued on the oven door, I only did it at the bottom so that I could open it up. On the inside I used the Cuttin' Up cartridge and my Gypsy to weld the sentiment, "bun in the oven?" and cut it out in black. I used alphabet stickers to write out the "congrats." I attached an easel to the back so that it can stand up, since it opens in an unconventional way. I have a friend who just found out she is pregnant and I think this will be perfect for her.
