Animal Antics Creation #9

I was thinking that if I am going to attempt to showcase projects from different cartridges I should try to make at least one Christmas card from each cartridge, if possible.  I know there will be some cartridges where it will be impossible or really difficult to do so, but I will attempt it.  This way I should be able to get a nice stash of Christmas cards going.  So this project is my Christmas card from the "Animal Antics" cartridge.

 

The card is 4 1/2"x6 1/4" and the base was created with white cardstock.  I cut a red mat at 4"x5 3/4" and another white mat at 3 7/8"x5 5/8."  I embossed the white mat with the Large Snowflake embossing folder by ProvoCraft.  I wrapped those layers with a red and white striped ribbon that I got at JoAnns a couple of years ago. 

 

I cut a red mat at 2 5/8"x3 7/8" and white mat at 2 1/2"x3 3/4."  The skiing moose is cut at 3."  The sentiment is from My Craft Spot, it is from the "Winter Wonderland" set, and I stamped it at an angle to act as a hill for my skiing moose.  I finished off the front of the card with three snowflake buttons.

 

I cut a red mat at 4 1/4"x6" and a white mat at 4 1/8"x5 7/8."  I wrapped these two layers with more of the red and white striped ribbon and adhered them to the inside of the card.  I used another stamp from My Craft Spot for the sentiment on the inside.  This one is from the "White Christmas" set.
