Animal Antics Creation #5

I'm back again today with a fifth creation using the Cricut cartridge, "Animal Antics."

For this card I used the actual card cut that is on this cartridge (page 56 of the handbook) and then created this scene card.  This cartridge really makes creating some scene cards really easy.  There are nine scenic backgrounds that you can use to create a scene or use as a background for one of the little critters on the cartridge.  You could also create a scene to put in a picture frame and hang on the wall if you cut it large enough.  There are so many ideas!

I cut the card shape from white cardstock at 5 1/2."  When folded the card is 5 1/2"x4 1.2"  The whole beach scene was cut at 5 1/2."  I used a glittery orange for the background to really get the feel of a beach sunset.  The sand patterned cardstock is from the Tahiti Beach Stack by DCWV.  All the other solid cardstock is from my stash, so it could be Core'dinations, The Paper Company, or DCWV...I just don't know for sure on each piece.  I used white flocking powder on the cloud and glossy accents on the water.

The trees were embossed with the Distress Stripes embossing folder by ProvoCraft and I added some crackle accents to the coconuts.  I adhered the trees with some foam tape for added dimension.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps and is from the "Sun Kissed" set.

I used the beach scene to fit with the current cupcake challenge at {Cupcake Inspirations}.
