I have a more masculine birthday card for you today.
The card is 4 1/2"x6 1/4."
Supplies:
Cardstock: The Paper Company (black, white, yellow); Core'dinations (blue)
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug - "Woodgrain"
Cricut Cartridge: George and Basic Shapes - star
Stamp: Paper Smooches - "happy birthday"
I made this card for the following challenges:
- Color Throwdown: daffodil delight, white, brilliant blue, black
- The Friday Mashup: sketch and birthday theme
- My Craft Spot: anything goes
- {PIN}spirational Challenges: photo inspiration (I was inspired by the clean lines, simplicity of the photo, and the woodgrain)
Great star card. Come check out Die Cuttin' Diva's challenge this week.

Great card Paula! I have the eb too and honestly, never really know what to do with it. You've inspired me to use it more - not just on brown "woodsy" colors! Thanks for joining us at {PIN}spirational Challenges! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThat would be a great card for a tween boy or younger too. Love your distressed core'dinations paper. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Love the embossed and sanded wood background in blue and the bright yellow star is the perfect focal point! Thanks for playing along with the Friday Mashup this week!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful birthday card and I love striking colours.
