Chocolate Covered Sweetness

Today's card is simply sweet:

The card is 5 1/2"x4 1/4" and made from brown card stock.  The striped mat is cut at 5 3/8"x4 1/8."  The scalloped oval is from "Elegant Edges," and is cut at 4 3/4" (both the regular and shadow layers).  I embossed the white scallop with an embossing folder by The Paper Studio called Quatrefoil.

The strawberry is from the "Sweet Shop" cartridge  It is cut at 2.57."  I embossed the red layer with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I also covered the brown card stock with glossy accents.  I used foam tape to mount the strawberry for some added dimension.

The banner is from "Victorian Romance."  It is cut at 2.12."  I inked the edges of the pink layer with picked raspberry Distress Ink.  The sentiment is from Fiskars and stamped in rich cocoa ink by Tsukineko.  I then added some pink enamel dots to the top right and bottom left corners.

I cut some pink card stock at 5 1/4"x4," and some white card stock at 5"x3 3/4" for the inside of my card.  I then cut a scalloped circle at 2," using "Elegant Edges."  The sentiment from My Craft Spot, the Tasty Treats set.  I stamped it in picked raspberry Distress Ink.

I made this for the following challenges:
BBTB2: favorite Cricut cut (I can't pick one favorite, but I love this chocolate covered strawberry and Elegant Edges is one of my favorite cartridges)

Sweet Wishes

This is my third card of the day! It's been a while since I have done that many in one day. This on is 4 1/2"x6 1/4." I used a dark brown cardstock for the base. The next layer is 1/8" smaller and is a glittery blue cardstock and the final layer is 1/8" smaller and a brown/blue polka dot paper. I used Sweet Shop to cut my three treats: an ice cream cone, a fudgesicle, and a popsicle. All three are cut at 2." The squares are 1 3/4" at their largest. Each layer is 1/8" smaller than the previous layer. I used glossy accents on all my treats and added some pearls for sprinkles on the cone. My mat at the top is 5 3/4"x2" at the largest and each layer is, you guessed it, 1/8" smaller than the previous layer. I wrapped it all with some ribbon and added a bow tied from the same ribbon. The sentiment is Scrappy Moms Stamps and is stamped in coffee bean ink by Tsukineko. I finished off the card with three sets of three pearls across the bottom of the sentiment mat. I am really pleased with how this one turned out! Enjoy!

Sweet Birthday Wishes

This sweet cupcake card is 4 1/2"x6 1/4." I created the aqua/purple mat by spraying white cardstock with some Tatter Angel Glimmer Mist. I sprayed it with turquoise blue, then spattered it with a little bit of purple. The cupcake is cut at 4 3/4" from Sweet Shop. I used glossy accents on the cherry and also pop-dotted it for some dimension. I embossed the icing layer with the D'vine Swirls embossing folder. The monogram is from Tie the Knot, cut at 1 3/4." I blinged up cupcake with some gems on the wrapper, cinnamon Stickles on the sprinkles, and grape Stickles on the "L" part of the monogram. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I adhered the cupcake to the card with pop-dots. I created this card for the following challenges:

Life's Sweet

This is a little departure from my recent Halloween creations. However, I thought it was nice to do something cuter rather than creepy or spooky. The card is 4 1/4"x5 1/2." I used a pre-made card by DCWV. I then trimmed a piece of polka-dotted cardstock 1/4" smaller and tied a sheer pink ribbon around it. The cake was cut at 3 1/2" from the Sweet Shop cartridge. I embossed the bottom layer with the Swiss Dots folder so the strawberry would have some texture. I also embossed the frosting layer with the D'vine Swirls folder. After embossing it, I covered the swirls with cotton candy Stickles. I stamped the sentiment on some pink cardstock, then matted it with some darker pink cardstock and adhered it to the card with pop-dots. I then added three pink pearls to the sentiment.
