Danke
This is a 4 1/4"x5 1/2" card, made from a green cardstock. I wrapped it with a brown ribbon, which is threaded through a yellow button. I have had both the ribbon and the button for a while, I've saved them from other things...knowing that someday I would use them. Today is finally that day! The owl is cut from Paisley at 3 1/2." I layered it on some green polka dotted paper, then layered that on some dark brown cardstock. The polka dot paper is cut at 4 1/4"x3 3/4" and the brown cardstock is 1/4" larger than that. I stamped my sentiment, which is from Fiskars, in pearlescent rust ink by Tsukineko, onto yellow cardstock. I then trimmed it to fit and cut the orange cardstock 1/8" larger. I then used pop-dots to adhere the sentiment to the card. I finished it all off with some brown gems for the owl's eyes.
This card is for these challenges:
- Color Throwdown: dusty durango, tangerine tango, chocolate chip, pear pizzazz, crushed curry
- Scrappy Moms Stamps: Paisley cartridge
- Clean & Simple: sketch #137
- 365 Cards: make a card that could be given to anyone, not too personal or gender specific
- For Fun Challenges: use something recycled (ribbon & button)

Flowers & Bee
This is a 3 3/4"x9" card, made from a dark brown cardstock. I left the background plain so the other elements would pop more. All the cuts came from the Paisley cartridge. The bee was cut at 2 1/2" and I used the shadow feature on it as well. I cut the wings twice, once with shimmery white cardstock and once with vellum. Once it was assembled, I then folded up the vellum layer of wings, for some dimension and to make it seem like he was flying. The flowers on this card were made using the button feature on this cartridge. I cut them both at 2" and then embossed the flowers with the D'vine Swirls folder and the flower centers with the Swiss Dots folder. Once all the cuts were adhered to the card base I finished it off with some buttons, two butterfly ones and a flower one.
I made this card for the following challenges:
- Card Patterns: sketch #103
- Crafty Creations: "down at the bottom of my garden...lives!"
- Color Throwdown: pretty in pink, tangerine tango, so saffron, chocolate chip
- Two Scraptastic Gals: Paisley

Sweet as Sugar
The layout is 12"x12." I used some pink cardstock for the background. I then adhered a large piece of paper shaped like a candy mint onto the pink cardstock. I can't remember the brand of the paper, but I got it at JoAnn's a year or so ago when it was on clearance. I cut two mats for each photo. The smaller mat is for a 3"x5" photo and the larger is for a 4"x6" photo. I stamped around the edge of the page with a sentiment stamp from My Pink Stamper. I used pink grapefruit ink by Tsukineko. My version of Princess Lolly is cut from Once Upon a Princess at 4 1/2." The crown she is wearing is also from Once Upon a Princess and cut at 1." I added some Stickles and jewels to the crown and her dress. The lollipops are cut from Paisley and Mickey and Friends. The three largest lollipops (glittery yellow and magenta) are from Mickey and Friends. They are cut at 2 1/2." I then embossed the lollipop with the D'vine Swirls embossing folder. The rest of the lollipopos are from Paisley. I cut three at 2" and three at 2 1/2." I embossed them with Swiss Dots. I added Stickles to the three smallest lollipops. The title is a sticker that I found in my stash and thought fit the page perfectly. I adhered it to some shimmery white cardstock and then matted it with some pink and used pop-dots to adhere it to the page.

Belated Birthday Card
My sister-in-law's birthday was a few days ago, but my husband forgot to tell me so that I could make a card in time. I still made a card, but we wound up sending it late. I decided to use a snail on the front because we were so slow in getting it to her.
I bought a stack of patterned paper at Michael's and also found some bling that was on clearance. So now I finally have a little more to work with. I will be even happier when I can finally unpack all my stuff and have a real craftroom to work in. That should be happening at the end of the month, that is when we are closing on our house at least. I guess it will take a few days to get my stuff unpacked. Enjoy!!
