My Sheri Crafts Guest Designer

Today I have the good fortune to be the guest designer for My Sheri Crafts.

The challenge this time is "Tic-Tac-Toe."  That means making a project with three items in a row from the grid.  My three are the color brown, twine, and a stencil.

The card is 8"x4," and made with a brown wheat patterned card stock.  I then cut a piece of dark brown card stock at 6 1/8"x3 1/4, and a piece of ivory card stock at 6"x3 1/8."  I then used a burlap stencil by Tim Holtz and some jumbo java ink by Tsukineko to create my background on the ivory piece.

The next dark brown layer is 5 1/8"x2 1/4," and the ivory layer is 5"x2 1/8."  I then stamped the wheat image in jumbo java ink.  I wrapped the bottom of the piece with gold and ivory twine.  The piece is adhered to the card with foam tape.  I then used a die from Jaded Blossom, from the Mini Tag Dies 2 set.  The sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom, from the So Many Birthdays set.

  1. Great fall colors! Perfect for the wheat image! Great design! :)

  2. Great looking card! Love the colors and image! Thanks for sharing as guest designer at My Sheri Crafts!

  3. I love the monochromatic look of the card. The addition of the burlap stencil gives it a lovely rustic look. Thanks for being our guest designer at My Sheri Crafts!

  4. Nice to see you as our guest designer again over at MySheri Crafts. Love this card so useful for guys too.
