Fall Candle

I got this candle at JoAnn's today, but I thought it was a little plain. So, I used the color challenge at Color Throwdown to dress it up a bit. Here it is:
I glued two strips of the dark gray polka dotted together to make it around the entire candle. It is cut at 3" wide. I cut some red cardstock at 2 1/4" wide, again gluing two strips together. The white strips are cut at 2." I trimmed the strips to 13 1/2." long. I stamped the sentiment, which is from Fiskars, in midnight black in by Tsukineko. I wrapped it around the candle, then wrapped it with some orange/white twine. I gathered it in the middle with an orange gem. I cut all the leaves from Flower Shoppe, from four sizes: 2," 2 1/2," 3," & 3 1/2." I inked around the edges of the leaves with tea dye Distress Ink and adhered them together with foam tape. I tied multiple pieces of twine in a bow and added that at the top of the leaves, with an orange gem in the middle of the bow. I adhered the leaves to the candle with foam tape.
