Today's card is 5"x5." I used white card stock for the base. The hexagonal patterned paper is 4 7/8"x4 7/8." The dark green piece is about 2 1/2"x4 7/8." To be honest I just found a piece of dark green card stock in my stash and cut it to the proper width, I never changed its length. I punched the bottom edge of it with a scalloped scallop punch from EK Success. The white strip is 1 1/4"x4 7/8." I embossed it with the Cuttlebug folder Swiss Dots.
The two scalloped ovals are from Spellbinders. They are from the large scalloped ovals Nestabilities set. They are adhered together, then placed on the card with foam tape. The turtle is from Peachy Keen, the June 2012 Stamp of the Month kit. I paper pieced most of him. The plates on his shell are colored with a dark green marker, then covered in glossy accents. His eyes are also covered in glossy accents. I also adhered him to the ovals with foam tape. The sentiment is Paper Smooches.
