This is the card I made for my brother's birthday, which is Friday.
The card is 4 1/2"x4 1/2" and made of black card stock. I used some patterned orange card stock as a mat, cut at 4 3/8"x4 3/8."
The label is from "Elegant Edges" and is cut at 4." The image is actually a glucose (sugar) molecule. It is a digital image I found in Cricut Design Space. My brother is a bit of science nerd (as am I) and I thought it would a fun card for him.
I made this for the current challenge at CASology. Their cue word this week is "sweet." I figured, what could be sweeter than glucose?
So cool. Very unique.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant and clever take on the cue word and I love the touch of shine on the background paper! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteHa! I thought that was a molecule symbol! Brilliant! Perfect sentiment and image for the cue this week at CASology -- I'll bet your brother will love this! (I have a sister and a brother that are both chemists, they would adore a card like this!) Thanks for joining us at CASology!
