One of my co-workers asked me to make a card for her to give her mother for her mother's 50th birthday. I have a few ideas, which should give her some options. This is the first of them:
The card is 5 1/2"x4 1/4" when folded up and it is an accordion fold card. I used 6 pieces of black card stock to create my card base. I cut them at 5 1/2"x12," then scored them at 4 1/4" and 8 1/2." This left a piece of card stock left over that I used for adhering all the piece together.
The white mats are all 5 1/4"x4." I used the Silhouette Cameo to print the images, then cut the mats. The sentiment on the front is just fonts from the computer, I filled them with color and printed it out. I then cut the mat and adhered it to the card front.
The candles are a print and cut image by Echo Park (#26206), I only printed them, I didn't cut. I changed the colors of all of it, instead of the candle being white and red I made it black and grey. I then copied and pasted it to save myself having to change the color on five of them. The three smaller candles are just over 3 3/4" and the two larger ones are just over 4 3/4."
The final panel is my sentiment panel. The white mat is 5 1/4"x4," and the dark grey panel is 5"x3 3/4." I then used another print and cut image. This one is by Sweet Elsie (#48931). I printed it out and cut another mat around it, this one at 4.8"x3.455."
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your candle card! What a great idea!!! Karen
