Limes

I decided to try my hand at making similar cards with the Cricut and Silhouette again.  It has been fun to find similar images and creating two cards at the same time.

Both cards are 4 1/4"x5 1/2."  I used glittery black card stock for the the card bases, then cut some green patterned card stock at 4 1/8"x5 3/8" as my mat.  The patterned paper at shimmery green used on the limes are from a stack called Specialty Cardstock by Me & My Big Ideas.

First the Cricut card.  I used "Elegant Edges" for the label.  It is on page 25 (oblong-shift, shadow-shift features) and is cut at 4 3/4."  The limes are from the Cricut Lite cartridge "Cherry Limeade."  The lime slice is cut at 2 1/2" and the full lime is cut at 2 1/4."  I added a little accent with a white gel pen to the lime.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps, the Good Eats set.  I curved the stamp to fit around the curve of the lime.

Now the Silhouette card.  Both the label and limes are from the Silhouette Store.  The label is from a set called "Vintage Badges and Banners" by Sophie Gallo (#27305).  I only used one, turned on its side, and cut it at 4."  The lime slice and full lime are a cut file called "Limes" and are by Sarah Bailey (#61561).  The lime slice is cut at 2 1/2" and the full lime is cut at 2 1/4."  I added a white accent to the lime with a white gel pen.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps, the Good Eats set, like the Cricut card.  However, it isn't curved quite as much on this card.

I made this for the current challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps, which is to create a food-related project.
