Here is a simple little Valentine, that I think would be perfect for a child. The card is 5"x7" and I used white cardstock for the base. The red layer is cut at 4 3/4"x6 3/4" and the pink layer is cut at 4 1/2"x6 1/2." I then cut the white cardstock at 4 1/4"x6 1/4" and ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Polka Dots embossing folder. The giraffe is cut from the Paisley cartridge at 3 1/2." It cuts out sideways so it is about 6 1/4" tall. I cut it out in pink and red. The little hearts on the tail, back and horns are all from Paisley as well. The large hearts were cut from George and Basic Shapes. The red one is cut at 1 1/2," the pink one is cut at 1 1/4" and the white one is cut at 1 3/4." I stamped the sentiment on the white heart. It is a Scrappy Moms Stamp. I then used pop-dots to adhere the giraffe and the white heart. I finished off the card with some ruby slipper Stickles around the white heart and glossy accents on the hearts of the giraffe.
