Canoe Dig It?

This card is 4 1/2"x6 1/4."  I used white card stock for the base, then cut an olive green mat at 4 1/4"x6."  I added some white pearls to the corners.  The scalloped mat is from "Elegant Edges" and can be found on page 65, the oblong feature.  I cut it using Cricut Craft Room so that I could turn off the aspect ratio and size it exactly how I wanted it.  It was cut at 6"x4 1/4."  The oval in the center is also from "Elegant Edges."  It is the oblong frame feature, I just hid the scalloped part and cut only the inner oval.

The canoer is from "Fun in the Sun."  I cut it at 2 1/2."  I adhered him to the card with foam tape for added dimension.  The water part of the cut is covered with glossy accents.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps, from the "Happy Campers" set.  I stamped it in faded jeans Distress Ink.  I finished off the card with a little doodling in white gel pen.

I made this for the following challenges:

Color Throwdown.: soft sky, very vanilla, old olive, night of navy
Scrappy Moms Stamps: things that go
My Craft Spot: fun with puns
