Well, I didn't do this one intentionally, but I made another ice cream cone card. I think it might be a wee bit too hot out if all I can think about it ice cream! This is a 5 1/2"x4 1/4" easel card. I used a blue cardstock for the base. I then cut some white cardstock 1/4" smaller, for both parts. I wrapped a ribbon around the base of the easel, then added three buttons to keep it propped up. I stamped the white cardstock of the upper part with a "happy birthday" stamp. I used Nifty Fifties to cut out the shape and ice cream cone. The cone is embossed with the Tiny Mosaic folder (backwards) and the ice cream is embossed with D'vine Swirls. I wrapped the card with some twine before adhering my ice cream cone. I finished it all off with another stamp, matted with blue 1/8" larger than the white, and adhered below the ribbon. I made this card for the following challenges:
365 Cards: "Day 148" - stamp the sentiment on the background
Whimsical Wednesdays: "Fun with Folds" - create a different style card
Scrappy Moms Stamps: Nifty Fifties or Campin' Critters
Papercraft Star: anything goes
Die Cuttin' Divas: sweet treats
Celebrate the Occasion: any occasion, blue & white
Birthday Sundaes: photo inspiration (see photo at right)
