Here's the Scoop

Wow, I haven't posted in a while! I have been quite busy lately. Not only do I have my usual routine: work, gym and all that; but I'm getting ready for a garage sale and I have to work on some invitations for my cousin's daughter's first birthday. So much on my plate, but I wanted to make something quick for a few challenges. This is a 4 1/2"x6" card. I used light brown cardstock for the card base, then cut some polka dotted cardstock for the bottom half. I then wrapped it with some printed ribbon. The ice cream cone is from Sweet Treats, cut at 5 1/2." I embossed the cone with the Tiny Mosaic folder and the white ice cream layer is covered in micro beads. I stamped my sentiments, both of which are from Fiskars, in rich cocoa ink by Tsukineko. I then rounded their corners and matted them with some pink cardstock, which is 1/8" larger than the white layer. I used pop-dots to adhere the "here's the scoop" sentiment. For the inside of the card, I cut some pink and white cardstock 1/4" smaller than the previous layer and stamped the "thanks for all you do" sentiment in the same ink as the front.
I made this card for the following challenges:
