Without End
This is a 5"x5" card. I used a shimmery red cardstock from Core'dinations for the card base. I actually created the rose background paper. I used my Cricut, Gypsy, Wild Card and Cricut gel pens to draw it out. The image is from Wild Card, it is using the icon feature of the cartridge. I sized it with my Gypsy to fit my card. I then used one of the Cricut gel pens to draw out the image for some patterned background paper. I cut a strip of the same shimmery red cardstock and used an EK Success border punch on it. I wrapped it with some white ribbon and adhered it to the card base. The heart is from George and Basic Shapes. I embossed the red layer with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then punched a hole in the heart and put a white brad in it. This created a flap that swivels at the brad. I stamped the sentiment on the front of the card and also on the inside of the heart in black ink. The sentiments are from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I also added some doodling to the inside of the heart with the same gel pen I used to draw my roses. I attached the heart to the card using some foam tape. I finished off the card with some Stickles on the brad and pearls along the border. I made this for the following challenges:
