Kangaroo Love

This cute little Valentine is perfect for a little girl!

 

The card is 5 1/2"x4 1/4."  I used white cardstock for the card base.  I cut some dark pink polka dotted cardstock at 5 1/4"x4" for the mat.  The white scalloped heart is a Nestabilities from Spellbinders.  I added two pieces of fun pink ribbon under the left side of the heart.  The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps.  I colored in the heart and covered it with glossy accents.  The kangaroo is from Birthday Bash, cut at 3."  I added a little foam tape to her pocket to make it look like the little guy was really popping out.  I added glossy accnts to their eyes and noses.  The kangaroo is adhered with foam tape.

 

The heart balloons are part of the kangaroo cut.  I just cut three of them, one at 3," one at 2 1/2" and one at 3 1/2."  I gave each one of them a different Peachy Keen face.  I used some baker's twine to be the balloon's strings.  The smallest balloon is also adhered with foam tape.

I finished the inside of the card as well.  I cut some striped pink cardstock, the same type as I used for the balloons on the front, at 5 1/4"x4."  I cut some more dark pink cardstock at 3 7/8"x2 5/8" and some white cardstock at 3 1/2"x2 1/4."  The sentiment is from Fiskars.
