I think this might be one of my favorite St. Patrick's Day creations! I think this little guy turned out so cute!!
I used a Silhouette file to cut the 3D pot o' gold out of a shimmery metallic black cardstock. I currently have no gold to put inside of the pot, but I will find something soon enough...probably some mini Hershy bars or something. :) The pot is about 4" tall when all assembed. I wrapped peapod twine around the top of the pot and tied on the shamrock, which was also part of the cut file.
The leprechaun is from Simply Charmed. He is cut at 5." I used CCR to hide his face so that I could use a Peachy Keen stamp instead. I used the largest face on the Simple Sallies Assortment. I did not stamp the eyebrows and used the ones cut from Simply Charmed. His eyebrows and hair are flocked with orange flocking powder. I used a shimmery metallic gold for his hat buckle then, to make it seem even more like metal, I covered it in glossy accents. I also covered his boots in glossy accents, as well as his eyes. I used a shiny red gel pen to color his mouth and used some chalk to give his cheeks a little color. To finish off my little leprechaun I used a gold metal brad for the button on his jacket.
I made this for the following challenges:
