This card is made using the card feature on Wild Card. I cut it at 5" from green cardstock using the blackout feature. I then cut it again, using the regular feature, from tan cardstock. I used George and Basic Shapes to cut a 4" circle from more of the green cardstock. I used a tan gel pen from Sakura to add some faux stitching around the edge of the green circle. I cut two hearts from George and Basic Shapes as well. The larger heart is cut at 3" and the smaller one is cut at 2 1/4." The two pieces of patterned paper I used are from Doodlebug Designs Inc. The smaller heart is adhered with foam tape. I ran some seaweed twine from the Twinery through a pink button and added it to the larger heart. The sentiment is stamped in bamboo leaves ink by Tsukienko. The sentiment is from My Craft Spot, the "Always and Forever" set. I adhered the sentiment banner using some foam tape and curled its edges a little.
I made this for the following challenges:
- 365 Cards: "Day 29" - faux stitching
- Exlporing Cricut: 1 embellishment, 2 patterned papers, 3 Cricut cuts
- Color Throwdown: crumb cake, regal rose, pretty in pink, old olive
- Cardz TV: round or square Valentine using the card feature
- {PIN}spirational Challenges: photo inspiration
