Time for another challenge at The Perfect Sentiment!
The challenge this week is "The Color of Love"
The challenge: create a card with a sentiment of love or anything appropriate for Valentine's Day
The twist: use red and white for the color scheme of your card
Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish and the winner will recieve 5 digis!
I made a long card for this challenge. It is 4"x8 1/2" and I used white cardstock for the card base. I cut some red patterned cardstock at 3 3/4"x8 1/4," it came from the Gilded Orchard Stack by DCWV. I then cut some grey patterned cardstock at 3 5/8"x8 1/8." This cardstock came from the Everyday Moments stack by Recollections.
I used Something to Celebrate to cut my love birds. They were cut at 3 1/2." I added some flocking to the red part of their feathers and glossy accents to their beaks.
I stamped hearts in three of the corners and the sentiment "love birds" in the fourth corner. I used rhubarb stalk ink by Tsukineko for my stamps and the stamps themselves came from Scrappy Moms Stamps.
Now that you have seen my interpretation of this week's challenge, head on over to The Perfect Sentiment and see what the rest of the design team has created. Then be sure you link up your card. I can't wait to see what you create!
This is so sweet, just love the colours & the birdies look fab!
