Here's a cute birthday card that I hope is perfect for a teenage girl's 16th birthday. It is a 5"x5" card. I used some light green patterned cardstock, the I believe is from the Nana's Kitchen stack by DCWV (I'm not positive on that though). All the plain colored cardstock is just from my stash. The blue strip is 5"x3 1/2," and I punched the top and bottom with an EK Success border punch. I then embossed it with the Spots and Dots embossing folder. The circle was cut at 4" using George and Basic shapes. I embossed it with the Happy Birthday embossing folder. The car was cut from Sweethearts at 2 1/2." I used my Gypsy to hide the cuts of the people's head in the car and the heart on the license plate. I cut the bumper and the license plate out of pink cardstock and then embossed them using the Tiny Bubbles embossing folder. Iused some flat-backed gems for the rear lights. For the rear window I used a piece of light green cardstock and used the Cracked Glass Technique on it. The circle tag is from Tags, Bags, Boxes & More and is cut at 1 /4," using the shadow feature for the pink and normal for the yellow. I stamped the 16 on the tag and tied a white ribbon through the hole of the tag. I used a large gem flower in the upper right corner and used some yellow Stickles for the flower's center. I pop-dotted the car, tag and flower. I finished off the front of the card with some white flat-backed pearls. The inside of the card is layered with pink and yellow cardstock and I added a flower gem and some flat-backed pearls to tie it to the front of the card.
The card was made for many challenges, here they are:
